Amitabha Medical Clinic and Healing Center was founded in 2001 by integrative medicine pioneer Dr. Isaac Eliaz, M.D., M.S. L.Ac. The guiding mission of Amitabha Clinic is to provide compassionate, individualized and integrative care for people with cancer, life threatening diseases and chronic illnesses.

Dr. Eliaz has been treating cancer and chronically ill patients using his holistic, integrative and highly personal form of healing for over 25 years.
He combines his background in Western medicine with extensive knowledge of Traditional Chinese, Tibetan, Ayervedic, Naturopathic, Homeopathic and complementary medical systems. With over 25 years of clinical experience and research, Dr. Eliaz offers a unique patient-centered approach to the relationship between health and disease.

About Our Name
The Buddha Amitabha is the most commonly used name for the Buddha of Limitless Light. This is a universal symbol which is represented in different ways in every religion and spiritual community.

In the context of Amitabha Medical Clinic and Healing Center, this represents our view that each person is a spiritual being who is not essentially limited or defined by an illness or health challenge.

Illness is part of a healing journey and recognition of the wholeness that already exists within each of us.

We work very individually with our patients to accomplish healing on all levels.
